Parliamentary Procedure Artsfest Passes Laws

by

I (William) recently hosted an Artsfest activity: “Parliamentary Procedure.” Here’s what the legislature decided:

Be it enacted by the people of Maine that GSA’s mascott is the capybara with pants with pictures of Drew.

Be it enacted by the people of Maine that all public depictions of animals must be censored.

Be it enacted by the people of Maine that raw milk may be sold without a license.

The House of Representatives resolves to voice in the strongest of language our disapproval for the governor.

Be it enacted by the people of Maine that the income tax be abolished. That a 6% sales tax be collected on all hotel rooms, dinners. That the current sales tax remains in effect.
