SUGARLOAF! Sign Up Next Year!

by

As the first semester nears an end, what better way to celebrate than to slide down a mountain in below freezing conditions?  Despite the frigid 17 degrees, (at base) students boarded the very popular Cyr bus and left for Sugarloaf, at 5:00 am.  While many dozed back off to sleep, enthusiastic chaperones Stearns, Farrar, Knight, and Graceffa welcomed a 30th year of tradition.

So sign up next year!  With a peak of 4,237 feet Sugarloaf has plenty of trails, ranging from green dot easy to double black diamond expert (if you dare).  When reminiscing of past years, Graceffa recalled a trip overflowing with 90 students, a real bus load.  Other trips brought a range of weather elements from rain to frigid temperatures of 40 below!  Don’t know how to ski or snowboard?  Snag a friend, take a lesson.  Take a lift to the top, and proceed to WIPE OUT!  Whatever happens, you’re sure to have a fantastic time!
